We are seeking a reliable and community-minded experienced Barista & FOH Attendant to join our Linton St Café team at the home of St Kilda Football Club.

About The Role
This role offers the chance to join a vibrant café team in a way that complements your lifestyle. Whether you're returning to work, balancing home commitments, or simply looking for a purposeful role in a supportive environment, we welcome your customer service experience and ongoing commitment.
You'll contribute to a warm, welcoming space for our community, drawing on your background in café service, food preparation or barista work. Your ability to deliver quality service, support other team members, and keep things running smoothly during busy periods will make you a valued part of our team.
This is a part-time position, working 25 hours per week across weekdays (typically 5 hours per day), with occasional weekend shifts to support the Saints community at AFL preseason, AFLW, VFL, and other community games and events.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
- The short workdays allow you to connect meaningfully with the local community while balancing other life responsibilities and interests.
- Your hospitality experience, along with your warm and inviting nature, enables you to deliver a high-quality customer experience while supporting the team.
- You're available to work weekend hours when required.
- You're committed, reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
- You're committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic environment
- Experience in a hospitality or café environment, with barista experience required.
- Confidence in basic food preparation, including handling and preparing food for display.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, ensuring a positive customer experience at all times.
- Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
- Square POS system experience highly desirable
- Experience in stocktake and ordering responsibilities
- A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
