Brand Marketing Manager

Brand Marketing Manager - Hype DC role at HYPE DC Pty Limited. Hype DC is Accent Group's premium, limited and exclusive sneaker retailer with almost 25 years in Australia. The team focuses on delivering memorable experiences, a high-performance culture and operational excellence.

As the Brand Marketing Manager for Hype DC Australia and New Zealand, you will lead the development and execution of integrated content strategies across key marketing channels, including Retail, social media, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and you will be the brand's point of contact for Marketing Brand Partners. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Digital, you will help ensure brand consistency and resonance across diverse platforms and support planning and execution of brand events in the region. This role is a parental leave cover for 8 months.

• Content Development & Creative Collaboration: Plan and brief local content creation requirements to the internal creative agency, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Manage the Brand Marketing Coordinator and oversee all aspects of content production, including photoshoots and video content.
• Manage fortnightly content approvals with the HOM, ensuring timely delivery to meet local campaign deadlines.
• Collaborate with the HOM and key Brand Partner marketing teams to develop and deliver calendar content to channel leads.
  • Paid & Organic Social Media: Develop and brief paid social media campaigns across Australia and New Zealand to the internal performance specialist; monitor, analyse and report monthly campaign performance metrics; create and implement an organic social media strategy (Meta + TikTok) with consistent brand messaging.
    • Influencer Marketing & Public Relations: Implement the KOL strategy in partnership with an external agency and brief PR agency to enhance brand sentiment and amplify collaborations across channels.
      • Retail Marketing & Visual Merchandising: Manage the Retail Marketing Specialist to provide campaign content for the store network; deliver tailored content for eCommerce & CRM teams; coordinate showroom and office POP updates to maintain brand consistency.
        • Stakeholder & Agency Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (agencies, Retail, Buying, Merchandise Planning, E-commerce) and external Brand Partner marketing and key account managers; manage external agencies (Influencer, PR, Print) to align with brand objectives and deliver campaigns efficiently.
          • Budget & Administrative Responsibilities: Oversee marketing budget updates and PO processes; conduct market research and trend anticipation to keep tactics innovative; act as Brand Custodian to ensure creative execution and tone of voice align with branding guidelines; handle ad hoc requests including events and partnership activations.
          Qualifications
          • 3+ years' experience in Marketing Management (Retail or Agency background highly regarded)
          • Strong familiarity with end-to-end content creation
          • Ability to interpret global guidelines with a local lens
          • Up to date with the social media landscape and solid understanding of social metrics
          • Trade Marketing or in-store POP experience
          • Agency management skills
          • Good presentation skills
          • People leadership experience
          • IT skills: very good Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
