SWIAA is looking for an Enrolled Nurse to work night shifts who is passionate about making a difference and committed to improving the environment of the elderly community to join our growing team.

About the Role:

The Enrolled Nurse, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for the comprehensive provision of person-centred care and clinical care to the residents of SWIAA Villages.

The Enrolled Nurse will supervise and support Nurses, AIN'S and personal care staff.

The key responsibilities of this role:

  • Supervise and guide the delivery of care, ensuring care needs of residents are attended to in a timely manner.
  • Provide person-centred care and advocate resident needs to support resident to make informed decisions
  • Use clinical judgement to identify changes in resident care needs, clinical deterioration and respond accordingly
  • Administer, the medication of residents in line with SWIAA policies and procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Participate in duties as required, as delegated and directed by the Registered Nurse.

About you:

You will be someone who aligns with our organisational value - Residents are our priority. You will monitor guide and support the delivery of care to residents bringing to the role a compassionate, supportive, and caring nature.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Preferably 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA registration Division 1
  • Understanding of WHS and IPC principles
  • Preferred understanding of Restrictive Practices regulation, Behaviour Support Planning, Serious Incident Response Scheme reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to policies & procedures and SWIAA's Values & Code of Conduct.
