Only applicants with valid Australian working rights will be considered.

We are recruiting candidates who can work both PM shifts (3PM - 11PM) & Night Audit shifts (11PM - 7AM). Options available for AM shifts in the future.

About The Capitol Hotel Sydney

Located adjacent to the Capitol Theatre in Sydney and a short walk from Darling Harbour and China Town, The Capitol Hotel Sydney has recently undergone a full refurbishment. It features 95 new accommodation rooms & a 40-seat restaurant in a heritage-listed building. Expect a unique experience with a touch of theatre at every turn.

About EVT

The Capitol Hotel is part of EVT, an Australian-owned company with over 100 years' experience in hospitality, entertainment, and leisure across Australia & New Zealand. The hotel joins The Independent Collection by EVT, which includes a curated selection of luxe, stylish, and budget-friendly properties.

About the role

Our GSA's are the first friendly face greeted at The Capitol Hotel. They handle Front Office, Food & Beverage, and guest interactions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing arrivals and departures
  • Providing exceptional guest service
  • Setting up and packing down restaurant and bar areas
  • Mixing cocktails, serving beers, and engaging with guests
  • Coordinating with housekeeping, reservations, and maintenance
  • Resolving guest issues promptly
  • Enjoying team member discounts from day one
