Disability Support Worker (Casual) - Evenings & Inactive Overnights

Join My People Solutions as a Disability Support Worker (Casual) - Evenings & Inactive Overnights.

We are currently seeking to fill three vacancies for a Disability Support Worker in a mature all-male SIL house in Clyde North. The role involves evening and inactive overnight shifts, primarily from 6pm to 6am, with your own bedroom and bathroom provided during the night hours.

Applicants must have at least 2+ years of experience in disability support, including working with adults with high physical support needs, ABIs, and behaviors of concern. Essential requirements include:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, First Aid/CPR, Working with Children Check, valid driver's license, and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Current medication administration and manual handling certificates.
  • Qualifications such as Cert III or IV in Individual Supports, Disability, or Mental Health Care are preferred.

Successful candidates may also be offered daytime shifts or roles in other locations, depending on skills and availability.

Ongoing training, including online modules and onsite sessions, is part of the role. The position may involve personal care and assistance as part of standard duties.
