Position For Div 1 Practice Nurse

Seeking a Part Time / Casual Div 1 Practice Nurse (2 days a week - flexible) to work in a supportive team environment. Must have previous experience in GP clinic. Experience in using Medical Director is an advantage. GPs and allied services are on site.

Duties :
  • Triage patients
  • Provide health education to patients
  • Completion of Care Plans
  • Wound management
  • Childhood Immunisations
  • Travel medicine advice and education
  • Assist GPs in medical procedures
  • Conduct ECG & Spirometry
  • Manage patient recalls and health promotions
  • Stocktake and ordering of clinic provisions

Experience using Medical Director is preferred but not essential.

Mandatory Requirements :
  • Minimum 2 years of working in General Practice
  • Immunisation credentials
  • Maintain accreditation with Nursing Accreditation Bodies
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Current CPR certificate
