Scope of roleAt RecordPoint, our Product Marketing Managers bring our products to life in the market. They ensure products are launched effectively and resonate with customers, driving awareness, adoption, and growth through smart go-to-market strategies. They are in-house experts on the market, customers, and how our products solve real problems. Their insights guide sales and customer teams to clearly communicate value and strengths. The role requires strong communication, writing, presenting, and collaboration across teams; being a proactive planner and team player is essential.
Responsibilities- Positioning & Messaging Framework - Develop positioning and messaging that clearly communicates how RecordPoint products solve audience challenges
- Product Features & Benefits - Produce collateral outlining product features in terms of real customer benefits and workflow improvements
- Stakeholder Management and Team Collaboration - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams to share insights and understand customer challenges
- Competitive Analysis - Conduct competitive analysis to highlight differentiators and maintain comparison tools
- Audience Interviews - Interview customers and prospects to understand workflows and pain points
- Audience Research & Persona Development - Build and maintain detailed audience personas from research and behavioral insights
- Product Launch Planning & Execution - Plan and execute product launches addressing market needs and aligning with company goals
- Pricing & Packaging - Work with Product to define and refine pricing and packaging based on segments and value perception
- Sales Enablement Content - Create materials that support the buying process and highlight product fit
- Customer Marketing Strategy - Lead customer marketing to turn satisfied users into brand advocates
- Craft clear product messaging that connects customer challenges with product solutions
- Translate features into benefits aligned with real customer workflows
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to align on audience needs, product value, and messaging
- Create sales enablement materials such as playbooks, pitch decks, and battle cards
- Plan and execute go-to-market campaigns for new product and feature launches
- Interview customers and conduct research to build detailed personas and understand workflows
- Track competitors and update comparisons to position RecordPoint effectively
- Write and produce content such as product overviews, videos, and webinars
- Develop and refine pricing and packaging using customer and market insights
- Showcase customer success stories to demonstrate value and drive engagement
- Direct product marketing experience with a track record of growth in technology companies
- Ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Leadership
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to write and produce content for various channels and present effectively
- Ability to distill technical products into compelling stories and messaging; experience training sales teams
- Experience with customer and market research using surveys, desk research, and interviews
- Strong understanding of GTM strategies and product marketing fundamentals
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze market trends and customer insights
- Strong collaboration and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
