About The OpportunityOutlier is seeking talented writers fluent in Australian English to help train generative AI models. This freelance opportunity is remote with flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever it suits you. Your tasks may include:
- Reading Australian English texts to rank AI responses.
- Writing short stories in Australian English on given topics.
- Assessing the factual accuracy of AI-generated Australian English texts.
- Experience as a professional translator.
- Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.).
- Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate or graduate program in a related humanities or creative writing field.
Rates for core project work by Australian English writers average USD $25.00 per hour. Rates may vary based on expertise, skills, location, and project needs. Higher rates may be available for PhDs or specialized skills. Non-core work, such as onboarding or overtime, may have lower rates. Incentive payments may also be offered. Please review specific project payment terms.
