As a copywriter at Rivyl, you won't just be writing copy; you'll be crafting the foundational language and personality of a brand. You'll be a key player in the genesis of new ventures, seeing your ideas shape everything from the brand's name to its launch into the world.

In this role, you'll be:

• Based out of our eclectic, vibrant, North Sydney office digs.
• A strategic thinker: Building trust with clients, understanding their needs, and crafting custom copywriting and naming solutions that make them shine.
• A branding enthusiast: Eager to learn the tricks of the trade and become a branding guru yourself.
• A curious, question-asking machine: Uncovering your clients' deepest desires and crafting solutions that exceed their wildest dreams.
• A Zoom ninja: Communicating clearly and engagingly, building rapport even through the screen.
• A methodical maestro: Tracking deals like a pro, keeping everything organised and on track through our established systems.
• A relentless follow-up pro: Ensuring smooth communication and keeping momentum alive in project approvals and follow ups
• A team player (with a maverick streak): Collaborating seamlessly while owning your projects and crushing your goals.
• As open-minded as Switzerland: Open to working with a vast array of clients from masculinity coaches to dildo brands, someone who can place personal opinion to the side whilst world building for a wildly diverse collection of brands from around the world.

Qualifications & experience

Applicants must be adept and qualified at professional copywriting with good grammar and personal editing skills. We develop the strategy, voice, personality and communication style for companies and need someone to assist us with developing entire brand strategies from the ground up.

We are not looking for the standard, colourless corporate copy. You will be interested in bringing a creative flair to your writing for our clients. You will need to be curious about human nature, investigative as to consumer motivations, interested in how to forge uniqueness in crowded markets, and possess strong attention to detail.

Tasks & responsibilities

You will be working closely with the broader team to take briefs and develop copy and ideas for:

• Brand Identity guides
• Websites and Landing pages (optimised for SEO keywords if required)
• Marketing campaigns
• Company and product naming
• Content - ebooks, email flows, blogs, social captions and headlines, etc
• Advertising Copywriting
