Casual Technical/Science Writer

We are seeking a talented writer to join our team on a casual, short-term basis.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to write about a wide range of topics, and have some experience writing either professionally, academically or as an enthusiast.

Key requirements include adopting and championing our web-based business processes and internal communication tools, and enjoying researching new concepts and adapting to the topic at hand.

A solid technical background, such as Engineering/IT/Science, or a technical mind with an interest in science and technology, is also essential. Many of our clients use advanced systems and software.

Alternatively, applicants may have previous experience in grant preparation for social/arts/environmental projects.

As a member of our team, you will work with talented and inspiring clients across a range of sectors, learn to build business cases, revenue models, and communicate scientific & technical concepts to a wide audience.

This is a great opportunity for merit-based progression in a friendly and supportive work environment.

Workload will generally be 3-4 days per week, for 3 months to begin with, although there may be opportunities to stay on when the rest of the team return from vacation.
