About the opportunity

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a nurturing, ordered, learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies and practices
• Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs, evaluating their effectiveness, assessing and reporting student progress, and communicating outcomes to students, parents, and the community
• Collaborating with the leadership team, teachers, and staff to foster a positive school culture
• Engaging in professional learning to enhance student outcomes
• Building positive relationships through pastoral care and supporting students' spiritual and moral development
• Ensuring that Catholic teachings and values underpin the learning and teaching process

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring relevant skills and experience, including:

• Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum
• Designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
• Engaging with colleagues, students, and parents to enrich learning and achieve optimal outcomes
• Supporting students' spiritual and moral development
• Note: You are not required to be Catholic for this position

• Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
