- Program Development and Oversight:Lead the creation and implementation of a strategic plan for the program, aligning with government goals for the construction industry. Take full responsibility for the program's success and the performance of the team.
- Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong partnerships with government agencies, industry associations, and community groups to ensure robust support and collaboration for the program.
- Recruitment and Selection:Oversee the development of innovative recruitment strategies to attract highly skilled workers from overseas. Manage the entire selection process, ensuring that candidates meet the qualifications and licensing requirements to work in South Australia's construction sector.
- Visa Processing:Collaborate with immigration authorities to streamline visa processing, ensuring that approved candidates are quickly and efficiently transitioned into their new roles.
- Settlement Services:Work alongside relevant stakeholders and government programs to provide comprehensive settlement services for new arrivals, including cultural orientation and accreditation training to bridge any skill gaps.
