Overview

Account Coordinator (Customer Service) – Illawarra Mercury

Location: Port Kembla, NSW; hybrid options available (4 days in office, 1 day from home per week) with occasional presence at the Chullora, NSW office. Applications close Wednesday, 17 September 2025.

What You'll Do
  • Be the key customer representative for a dedicated portfolio of accounts, maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide solutions and deliver product in line with customer business needs.
  • Provide customers with real-time updates on product and service-related matters.
  • Identify improvements in systems and processes and assist with implementing changes for internal teams and customers.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience within a customer service environment.
  • Strong relationship management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues and identify solutions.
  • Experience with digital platforms, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and D365; adaptable to dynamic processes and changing system environments.
