Principal Recruitment Consultant - Safety & Environment at Evolve Talent
The OpportunityEvolve are excited to be partnering exclusively with a high-risk manufacturing business who are looking for an experienced safety professional to join their down-to-earth team.
This role would be suitable for someone who takes a "boots on ground" approach and has an operational mindset when partnering with the business in all safety related matters.
About the RoleReporting to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for safety across multiple locations, with the primary focus being a manufacturing facility in Dandenong. Our client is seeking an experienced candidate who can provide advisory support and safety solutions to their stakeholders. They require a curious safety professional with a robust personality who can engage with all levels within the business. With a good safety culture and a safety management system in place already, this business is looking for someone to join who can help build on these foundations.
To be successful you must bring:
- Previous experience advising on safety and environment within a heavy manufacturing setting (or similar)
- Ability to work in a stand-alone safety role — eager to learn and partner with the operations team
- Someone who is a critical thinker with a curious mindset
- Confidence in your technical expertise to advise on all aspects of safety — understanding risk management is essential
- Formal qualifications in HSE/WHS (Minimum Cert IV in WHS)
