We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer, to join our growing data engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines and modern analytics solutions leveraging the latest Azure data services.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes in Azure.
• Strong experience working with Python, Spark and Databricks.
• Develop and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices across the data platform.
• Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines.
• Strong experience designing and building data pipelines on Azure using services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience working with large-scale data processing and distributed systems.
• Experience integrating and transforming data from various sources (structured, semi-structured, unstructured).

Location - Sydney - Hybrid (3 days at the client office)
