Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data processing systems, ensuring high availability and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement technical specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Scala/Spark, API, and Streaming, as well as experience working with PySpark, Python, and SQL. Proficiency in Azure cloud platform and expertise in various connectors and pipelines for batch and real-time data collection/delivery are also required.

  • Design and implement scalable data processing systems using Java, Scala/Spark, API, and Streaming technologies.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines using PySpark, Python, and SQL.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
  • Participate in technical discussions and decision-making processes.

Experience working in Agile environments and proficiency with JIRA and Confluence are essential.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical topics.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other engineers.
