Responsibilities

We are looking for an organized and customer-centric individual to be a Hearing Care Assistant at Audika Rosny Park Clinic. This is a part-time position with a work schedule of 7 days per fortnight (Monday - Friday week 1, Monday and Friday week 2). If you are interested in helping our clients improve their hearing and quality of life, keep on reading This role is for you.

This pivotal role in each clinic contributes to clinic performance and enhances our customers' experience. We seek a compassionate, process-oriented, and purpose-driven individual, whose outstanding organizational and customer service skills will help more people access better hearing.

You will collaborate with Clinicians and Clinic Coordinators to provide quality hearing health care outcomes for our clients.

You will learn about our products, services, competitive advantages, and government funding programs.

You will support clinicians with hands-on assistance during hearing appointments, including video otoscopy, tympanometry, and the placement of equipment to perform air conduction, bone conduction, and speech testing.

You will facilitate device demonstrations and tests during audiology appointments.

You will manage the equipment and IT required for video conferencing, as well as hearing aid fitting, minor repairs, and device troubleshooting.

With this knowledge, skills, and tools, you will apply tailored client-specific sales strategies to ensure they receive the best solutions.

You'll be successful in this role if you have:
  • Previous sales and/or customer service experience in hearing care services, pharmacy, or allied health
  • Experience working with an older demographic, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and empathy for clients to support their hearing journey
  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) or TAFE Qualification
