It has close to 1,000 machines in its rental fleet, supported by a network of maintenance and component rebuilding workshops across the country, and powered by its own proprietary asset management and fleet optimisation technology. Job Purpose:
The Digital Implementation & Support Specialist is responsible for the implementation, training and ongoing technical support of modern, complex technology projects to external customers in a fast-paced mining environment. These projects involve challenging technical, functional and contractual requirements and require an adaptable thinker with a proven ability to influence others, learn technical concepts quickly and develop trusted end user customer relationships to achieve technology adoption and impact. Projects will include Emeco's Operational Technology (OT) solution/s on customer locations across Australia. These solutions include Emeco Operating System (EOS) and adjacent mining technologies that help our customers solve problems, and drive higher safety, value and productivity. The role requires a hands-on approach, including travel to various customer project locations to manage and contribute to the delivery of OT solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire implementation lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and closing. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined quality standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and external parties, to ensure successful implementation. Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to address any issues promptly.
- Provide hands-on support during both remote and onsite implementations, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring that the solutions are integrated smoothly with existing systems and processes.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to ensure that the solutions meet business requirements and perform optimally. Address any defects or issues identified during testing.
Training & Support
- Create and deliver comprehensive training materials, including manuals, guides, and video tutorials, tailored to the needs of frontline personnel. Ensure that the materials are clear, concise, and easy to understand.
- Lead engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually, using various training methods to ensure effective knowledge transfer. Encourage participation and address any questions or concerns.
- Offer continuous support and troubleshooting to frontline personnel, maintaining a helpdesk for quick resolution of issues. Regularly check in with users to ensure they are comfortable with the new technologies.
- Establish a feedback loop to gather input from users and continuously improve training programs and materials. Use the feedback to make necessary adjustments and enhancements.
What we'll need from you:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in technical consulting, business consulting, technical training, project engineering/management, or related.
- Proven experience in digital implementation or a similar role.
- Evidence of a solid foundation within a technical domain
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in general terms
- Preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate their ability to teach and/or explain concepts in an engaging manner.
