The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated entry level Site Supervisor to join our team based in our Forrestdale branch. The ideal candidate will work alongside our Operations Manager & Project Managers, to assist in coordinating & delivering onsite project works & events across the region.

This is a hands-on, field-based role in the equipment rental industry – perfect for someone with practical skills who wants to develop into a Project Manager role over time.

You'll be responsible for supervising crews on site, ensuring safety and compliance, liaising with clients, and keeping projects running smoothly. No two days are the same, and you'll be on the ground where the action is.

Key Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To
  • Supervise and co-ordinate on-site works for events and projects
  • Ensure all work meets compliance and safety requirements
  • Conduct toolbox talks and manage OH&S on site
  • Liaise & co-ordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver to scope
  • Resolve site issues and manage stock counts and discrepancies
  • Identify ways to improve site efficiency and performance

What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Previous experience in a site-based role – e.g., leading small teams, working in equipment hire, events, construction or similar.
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S requirements and ability to lead toolbox talks
  • Confident managing subcontractors and leading from the front
  • A can-do attitude and strong sense of ownership
  • Practical problem-solving ability with a focus on outcomes
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for dealing with customers and team members
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
  • Valid Forklift Licence and Driver's Licence (essential)
  • MR Truck Licence (desirable)
  • Construction White Card (essential)
  • Working with Children's Check (or ability to obtain)
