Overview

Join to apply for the Clinical Nurse Consultant TPCH (ART) role at Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.

The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy within business hours at The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the speciality of Child and Youth Mental Health. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides direct and indirect care as required and works in collaboration with health care teams to deliver safe, quality healthcare.

About the Role

You will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the CHQ Leadership Excellence Framework, Queensland Public Service values and CHQ values. Your contributions include:

  • Fulfil responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015 – Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and CHQHHS commitments and values.
  • Direct and/or indirect care and leadership within the domain of practice.
Domains of Practice

Domain 1: Direct comprehensive care or provision of direct care

  • Accountable for NMBA standards, actions and outcomes of own nursing practice and delegated activities.
  • Provide safe, compassionate care, integrating the nursing Professional Practice Model, quality frameworks and the Planetree philosophy of holistic patient care (psychological, social, emotional, spiritual and physical needs) to achieve best clinical practice and outcomes.
