Job Title: APS3 Participant Support Officer
Location: Ballarat
ASAP Start – Initial End Date: 31st December 2025
Pay Rate: $37.36 per hour + Super
We are seeking an APS3 Participant Support Officer to join a dynamic team, providing essential support to participants and ensuring smooth service delivery. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent customer service, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve participant matters in line with relevant guidelines.
- Provide front-desk support, assisting with participant inquiries at self-help kiosks and online portals.
- Respond to customer inquiries, offering information and referrals to government and community services.
- Manage the team's shared email inbox, appointments, and telephone inquiries.
- Coordinate participant appointments, ensuring accessibility of facilities.
- Conduct research, prepare reports, and handle correspondence.
- Perform data entry tasks and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Record and manage complaints and feedback in business systems.
About You:
- Experience in customer service, administration, or community services.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail and proficiency in administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of disability services or government processes (desirable but not essential).

- Australian Citizen.
- Experience in customer service, administration, or community services.
