Job Description
As a Claims Consultant within our Group space, you will manage life insurance claims from start to finish, providing a seamless experience for our customers.
In This Role You Will
- A key focus of this role involves providing a best-in-class customer and client experience, including regular communication in relation to the status of claims and managing expectations, to deliver on quality health and claim outcomes.
- Independently managing a portfolio of TPD and IP claims end-to-end
- Assess, analyse, calculate and finalise claims payments
- Active engagement of external treating doctors, rehabilitation consultants as well as in-house medical and legal specialists and delivering timely outcomes for our customer
- Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with our philosophy, policy and claims procedures
- Participate in case conferences, peer case discussions, and instructing third party service providers
Qualifications
- Life insurance claims management experience within Group policy - IP and/or TPD claims experience is ideal OR;
- Workers Compensation or Return to Work claims management experience with an Allied Health background
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & time-management skills
- Excellent communication & empathy to support customers during challenging times.
- Solid understanding of injuries, illnesses and treatment
