About the Role

  • 2 : 1 roster requiring split day shift and night shift operations.
  • Operate a Caterpillar 988K loader (primary loader) safely and efficiently.
  • Operate a Komatsu WA 500 loader (backup ROM loader) safely and efficiently.
  • Assist the client in unblocking crusher when required.
  • Operate E-feeder during maintenance periods.

Expectations

Uphold Centrals commitment to safety and zero harm value ensuring compliance to individual safety key performance indicators.Conduct yourself with integrity whilst on site treating all personnel with respect.Present to work motivated and fit to undertake required duties.Work in a team environment and promote the development of others and assist on other equipment when required.Complete comprehensive prestart checks on mobile plant including reporting of defects through Centrals Viper application.Maintain positive communication at all times with site personnel.

Site Specific Requirements

Current relevant driver's licence.Current National Police Clearance (within last 12 months).Completion of a Gold Stealing Detection Unit (GSDU) Release of Information Consent Form.Comprehensive pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol Screening.Completion of both online and onsite inductions and verification of competency paperwork.

Skills and Experience

Hold a current nationally recognised Front End Loader National Ticket (multiple nationally recognised tickets desirable).Demonstrated experience feeding fixed ROM crushing plants.Demonstrated experienced in communicating with mill control understanding change of blends and feed requirements.Demonstrated experienced in ROM stockpile management.Demonstrated experienced in management of personnel and traffic entering and exiting ROM facilities.Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
