Youthworks Conference Centres provide a place of temporary community for groups for relational and personal growth. They are intentional partners to schools, churches and like-minded community groups through networking, collaboration and facilitation of Word ministry. They provide outstanding venues in amazing locations and Christian hospitality. They believe their interactions with guests and each other are opportunities to promote and proclaim the gospel.

About The Role

Youthworks Conference Centres is seeking casual Guest Relations Assistants for our team at Shoalhaven, situated on the Shoalhaven River, just outside Nowra. This casual role offers flexible shifts to service seven day a week operations. Your key role will be contributing to our guests satisfaction, through providing high quality meal service to Youthworks' standards.

  • Learn skills in meal service and customer service
  • Flexible shifts, no more late nights Most evening shifts finish at 8pm
  • Supportive workplace

Your responsibilities
  • Provide high quality meal service to our guests
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining room

You will need to demonstrate
  • A passion for serving people and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service
  • An ability to work with a wide range of staff to achieve effective outcomes
  • A strong work ethos with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage your time well
  • A willingness to work within an overtly Christian environment and with an Anglican organisation

What we would really like you to have
  • A personal Christian faith
  • Experience in hospitality and/or customer service
  • Drivers Licence

Additional Information

A current drivers licence and own transport is essential as there is no public transport anywhere near the Shoalhaven Conference Centres.
