About the role
Are you an experienced Audio Visual Technician with a passion for sound and lighting? Power Audio Visual is seeking a full-time Senior Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team in Claremont, Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and solutions for a variety of live events, productions and installations.
What you'll be doing
Providing expert technical support in the setup, operation and maintenance of sound, lighting and other AV equipment for live events, productions and installations
Systems Engineer & Systems Designer along with Operate Bands, Corporate events, FOH & monitors
Collaborating with clients, producers and event organisers to understand their technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively to ensure seamless event delivery
Performing regular maintenance and testing of AV equipment to optimise performance
Mentoring and training junior technicians to develop their skills and expertise
What we're looking for
5+ years' experience as an Audio Visual Technician, with a strong background in sound and lighting
Extensive knowledge of AV equipment, including digital and analogue sound systems, lighting rigs, projection systems and stage management technology
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality technical solutions
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues quickly
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, producers and colleagues
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
Flexible and adaptable to work across a variety of live events and productions
