Location: Canberra

Security clearance: Australian citizenship, and a NV1 clearance minimum

We are ideally seeking a permanent hire for this role, with an attractive salary, training and career opportunities on offer.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Commercial team in providing procurement and financial governance services.
  • Identifying, planning, measuring and tracking benefits from the start of the program or project investment until realisation of the last projected benefit within the Defence sustainment environment
  • Ensure that the desired benefits are specific, measurable, agreed, and realistic and time bounded.
  • Work with projects and operational teams managing how time and resources are invested into making desirable changes with valued outcomes.
  • Provide support with simple and complex procurements
  • Assist with directorate financial governance activities
  • Maintaining the program and project benefit application

To be successful, you will have extensive experience in:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Defence environment
  • Knowledge of Defence simple and complex procurement
  • Ability to hit the ground running
