Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, getting stuck into hands-on work, and making a real difference in your community? We're looking for Works Assistants to help maintain the City's parks, playgrounds, reserves, public amenities Botanic Gardens and green spaces.

About The Role

In this varied, on-the-go role, you'll:
  • Keep our public spaces clean, safe, and well-maintained
  • Support horticultural, turf maintenance and Botanic Gardens programs
  • Operate equipment and assist with small plant and truck tasks
  • Use mobile technology to plan and report on work
  • Be part of a team that takes pride in keeping the City looking great

What You'll Bring
  • Cert III in Horticulture, Civil Construction or relevant experience
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • A passion for working outdoors and a strong work ethic
  • Reliability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Bonus points for: MR licence, Chemical Accreditation, First Aid, or Traffic Control experience.
