Electrical Technician - Project Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team on a challenging project.

The project involves upgrading the sludge treatment processing system at the Woodman Point facility, enabling the recovery of biosolids for agricultural use and generating biogas as a source of energy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Electrician to work on a high-profile project with our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret diagrams, drawings or specifications to set up job requirements.
  • Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions / faults.
  • Ability to understand and follow Permit To Work/Isolation procedures.
  • Replace electrical and electronic components as required.
  • Install electrical and electronic control systems and insulated cables.
  • Assemble and fabricate electrical/electronic components and equipment.
  • Execute work in line with quality procedures and safety requirements.
  • Connect electrical equipment to power supplies.
  • Splice and terminate electrical conductors.
  • Assemble and install conduits, cable ladder and other electrical conductor enclosures.
  • Complete electrical appliance and portable equipment testing and tagging.

Requirements:

  • Hold an Electrical Licence WA.
  • Have a Construction White/Blue Card.
  • Be proficient in UETTDRRF06B - Perform rescue from a live LV panel.
  • Hold HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  • Possess a High Risk licence.
