Asset and Facilities Support Officer (AFSO), Clerk Grade 3/4 – Wollongong State Headquarters. Full-time temporary position until 30 June 2026. Location: Wollongong State Headquarters (some flexibility can be considered). This is a volunteer-based Emergency Services agency supporting communities of NSW.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service for all fleet-related enquiries.
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the fleet team.
- Manage and coordinate pool and Executive fleet asset replacement schedules.
- Handle total loss insurance claims.
- Organise and respond to internal and external correspondence, including managing the Fleet inbox and Service Desk, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Process equipment orders and oversee communication and change management activities for the delivery of new assets and the collection of assets being retired from service.

- Understand program and project management methodologies and best practice.
- Have knowledge of NSW Government Procurement, Supply and Fleet policy and practices.
- Have demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

- Attractive salary range of $84,659.00 to $92,701.00, 12% superannuation and leave loading + field allowance (if applicable).
