Your new role

Reporting to the senior management accountant, you will be a key member of the finance team supporting the organisation's financial requirements. You will work closely with the team to provide accurate and timely financial information, ensure the integrity of the general ledger, and adhere to all internal financial controls.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Month-end financial reporting
  2. Balance sheet reconciliations
  3. Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  4. Intercompany recharges
  5. Assisting with Accounts Payable, including payment runs and EFTsure verification for all suppliers
  6. Calculating accruals/prepayments (expenses and income) and processing journal entries
  7. Cash flow reporting
  8. ATO reporting such as BAS & Instalment Activity Statements
  9. Assisting with preparation of documentation for the Annual Audit
  10. Ad hoc reconciliations and finance tasks as required

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, strong analysis, and reconciliation skills. You should be able to build lasting relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, possess high-level analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
