Applied AI Research & Engineering - Come Join Us

Why This Role Matters

At Maincode, we're building a next-generation AI research and engineering company. Our mission is bold: to move humans forward by creating systems that help people make smarter, faster, more meaningful decisions. We're not here to chase trends. We're here to invent the future.

But even the most brilliant minds can't do their best work in chaos. That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Workspace Specialist. Someone smart, gritty, and reliable who can make sure the physical and digital environment our team works in is frictionless. You're the kind of person who doesn't need permission to solve a problem. You notice what others overlook. You keep the train on the tracks without needing a spotlight.

You may not have a degree. You might be early in your career. But you're switched on, mission-focused, and ready to earn your stripes.

What You'll Do

  • Own the workspace: desks, chairs, monitors, whiteboards, cables, printers, plants. If it's part of the working environment, you make sure it works and looks sharp.
  • Run onboarding: prep laptops, set up accounts, organize welcome packs, and make new teammates feel like Maincoders from day one.
  • Be the first line of IT defense: Slack and Notion weirdness, Zoom links that don't work, printer meltdowns. You're on it.
  • Support team rhythm: tidy the office, stock the fridge, pick up coffee, help with offsite logistics, manage our internal calendar and shared spaces.
  • Coordinate vendors: cleaners, couriers, equipment suppliers, building management. You're the point person.
  • Think and act like an owner: spot things that are broken and fix them before they slow us down.

What We're Looking For

  • You're detail-oriented, with high standards and a calm, capable presence.
  • You learn fast. New tools, systems, responsibilities don't scare you.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments where every day looks a little different.
  • You're mission-driven. You want to be part of something meaningful, and you're willing to start wherever you're needed.
  • You're low ego, high output. You don't need credit, just purpose.
  • You notice what's missing and get it done without being asked.

Where This Could Lead

This isn't just a facilities role. If you bring the energy, this job will open doors.

Interested in people ops? Start running onboarding, culture rituals, and internal experience design.

Drawn to technical systems? Learn automation and scripting to support internal tools or IT ops.

Want to grow into operations or chief of staff? Start here. Prove yourself. We'll back you.

This is a rare opportunity to learn up close from a world-class research and engineering team and earn the trust to grow in any direction you choose.

What We Offer

  • A front-row seat to the most exciting work in AI
  • A no-BS, mission-first team that values ownership, integrity, and real-world impact
  • Freedom to take initiative and learn across domains
  • A beautiful, functional workspace you'll help shape

Final Word

This role is perfect for someone with hustle, humility, and the ability to get things done. You might not know everything today, but you're the kind of person who will.

If you're hungry to be part of something that matters, and ready to make your mark behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.
