Overview

Join the ACE Training team today on a salary of A$130,000.00/yr + Super + $5k sign-on bonus. Note that this role requires a high degree of mobility as training may at times have to be delivered off-campus and in other regions.

A$130,000.00/yr

The Role

The position is full-time; we are open to discussion regarding a roster that suits you. A range of teaching days is available from 7:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend work may also be available.

About You

We are looking for professional educators with fantastic people skills, a proven specialist lifting background, and a passion for sharing learnings with others. You may be a great fit if you have the following:

  • A can-do attitude and an upbeat personality
  • Ability to multitask in a busy RTO environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer/Assessor and hold current industry skills
Essential criteria
  • Cert IV TAE (plus upgrade units if required)
  • Possess a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
  • Demonstrated Lifting Operations experience within the construction/civil, resources & infrastructure or training sectors
  • Be accredited by WorkSafe as an Individual Assessor (or ability to gain accreditation, if applicable)
  • Be eligible to obtain a Working with Children Check Card and a Police Check
  • You will need to be an Australian Resident
  • Must hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
Key responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)
  • Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meet ASQA/RTO Standards and other applicable regulations
  • Supervise students' behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training
  • Maintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
  • Travel may be required to deliver training off-site
  • Perform other general duties as required
