About The Role
  • Based at the Mater Hospital, North Sydney, as Endoscopy Technician in the DSU/Endoscopy department.
  • Available on a casual basis with potential for a more permanent role in the future as the Endoscopy suite opens in 2025.
  • Responsibilities include endoscope processing, decontamination, sterilisation, maintenance and storage.
  • Collaborate with technicians, nurses, and Doctors to support the unit as required.
About You
  • Certificate in Endoscopy Reprocessing (GENCA) highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of GENCA practices, infection control protocols, and Endoscope processors and accessories.
  • Ability to stand for long hours and carry heavy boxes.
  • Ability to multitask, flexibility with allocations, and adaptability to change.
