Job Description

The successful candidate will lead the development and improvement of management reporting to aid decision-making by senior executives within the organization. Stakeholder engagement (with internal and external decision-makers) is a key element of this role to ensure timely and accurate reporting of the organization's budgeting and forecasting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to Finance Management in preparing financial information and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management reports to provide relevant and timely financial information to management, the Board, and other stakeholders.
  • Undertake costing data analysis and reporting for management as required.
  • Review and reconcile various accounts and ledgers.
  • Contribute to the end-of-month processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly PAYG and quarterly BAS.
  • Support the annual financial audit and the preparation of financial statements.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register as required.
  • Liaise with Finance Management to ensure achievement of internal controls.
  • Identify and implement financial system and procedural efficiencies.
  • Provide analysis of key cost drivers related to actual financial results for Finance Management and the Executive.

The Successful Applicant

Ideally CA or CPA qualified, this role demands excellent communication skills, proven stakeholder management experience, and a desire to enhance existing analysis tools and reporting. The candidate should have a proven background in Financial Accounting and a good understanding of Management Accounting.
