    Job Description

    The Financial Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:
    • Manage the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reports in compliance with relevant standards.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to maintain robust internal controls.
    • Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative environment.
    • Collaborate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
    • Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate governance requirements.

    The Successful Applicant

    A Successful Financial Accounting Manager Should Have
    • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
    • Professional certification such as CPA or CA (or equivalent).
    • Mid-tier or big-4 audit experience is highly regarded
    • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
    • Proven ability to manage financial reporting and compliance processes.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience leading and mentoring teams in a professional setting.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
