Position
Purchasing Officer

To enable our business to continue to deliver quality maintenance services, we are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team at our head office in Pinjarra.

About the Role:

  • Full time position
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
  • Salary Position
  • Long term career opportunities
  • Superannuation paid on all hours worked

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing - including creation of purchase orders, order confirmations, expedite outstanding orders and weekly backorders
  • Efficient processing of all documents and data entry relating to incoming or outgoing stock and freight
  • Liaising directly with Managers, Leading hands, supervisors and internal teams
  • Liaising directly with Murray Engineering Suppliers
  • Use of business management system - pronto and similar

Successful candidate must have :

  • Pronto experience or similar (highly desirable)
  • Purchasing experience in Heavy engineering and fabrication
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • National Police Clearance
  • Experience with Warehousing IT Systems
  • Full Australian working rights
