North Ballarat Sporting Club is a proud community hub with a strong tradition in football and netball, as well as a thriving sporting club business that includes a bistro, bar, and events space. We're passionate about sport, community, and providing great experiences both on and off the field.


The Role

We're looking for a creative and community-minded Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our team.

This part-time role (approx. 3 days per week) is perfect for someone who enjoys social media, design, and connecting with the local community. You'll be responsible for promoting both the sporting side (football and netball clubs) and the business side (venue, bistro, events, functions) of the club.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the club's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram) with engaging and timely content
  • Design creative graphics, event posters, and promotional artwork
  • Keep the website up to date with fixtures, events, and news
  • Promote club events, bistro specials, and community activities
  • Showcase football/netball club culture and highlight sponsors
  • Support marketing campaigns for membership, game days, and events

What We're Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital trends
  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
  • Creative flair with content creation (writing, images, video)
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude and connection to community/club culture
  • Previous experience in marketing, social media, or design is an advantage
