We welcome experienced Health Information Managers (HIMs) and clinical coders to join our central coding workforce and be part of a nationwide private hospital operator with 42 sites supported by a central Support Office.
What We Expect From You- Two or more years of experience coding in an inpatient setting.
- Current eligibility to work in Australia.
- A drive to challenge the status quo, continually improve, develop, and learn.
- Self-management of your workload and working time.
- Attendance at a fortnightly online education session (30 minutes, pick one of two sessions).
- Open communication.
- Remote or onsite work (at any of the 37 hospital sites in our network).
- Varied coding from a number of different hospitals – regardless of where you are working from.
- Genuine flexibility in your working days and hours (e.g., school pickups, gym, appointments).
- Laptop and IT equipment.
- Fortnightly online training and education.
- Annual in-person Education and Networking Days.
- Direct access to coding auditors and educators, with potential to become one.
- Direct access to your manager or team leader.
- Industry-based professional development opportunities.
