About The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and innovative professional to lead our Workers' Compensation and Injury Management Team within the Safety and Health Branch. This Team plays a vital role in promoting welfare and wellbeing, injury prevention, safe work practices, and early intervention to support meaningful recovery at work.
As the Manager Workers' Compensation and Injury Management, you will:
- Lead a team of qualified and passionate professionals to implement and enhance workplace rehabilitation systems, processes, and practices.
- Provide high-level expertise, advice, and supervision in injury case management, compensable injury management, and return-to-work strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contemporary knowledge of legislation, policies, and processes is maintained and shared across the Department.
- Proven leadership experience in workers' compensation and injury management.
- Strong understanding of contemporary rehabilitation and return-to-work practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and foster a supportive team culture.

To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the Western Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
