Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate person-centred programmes to ensure the best outcomes for patients in acute care
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support for patients
  • Review occupational therapy interventions and make adjustments as necessary, contributing to patient health and recovery
  • Maintain detailed records of patients' progress and therapy sessions in line with NHS guidelines
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members and newly qualified therapists to foster a learning environment
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist
  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent experience working in the UK as an Occupational Therapist
  • Proven recent experience within the NHS system
  • Current registration with the HCPC
