Join MUFG's Investor Relations team as a Shareholder Analyst in Sydney, focusing on shareholder data analysis and compliance.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data on shareholder activities and market trends.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports on changes in share ownership and fund activity.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather shareholder intelligence.
  • Monitoring shareholder movements to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency across the analysis team.
  • Responding to client queries and assisting with documentation and reporting.
  • Contributing to the delivery of high-quality services across the business.
About you

Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in equity markets and a willingness to learn.
  • Some understanding of investor relations or financial markets (preferred but not essential).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
  • The ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and stay organized.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is highly desirable.
