Sportscraft & Jag - Assistant Concession Manager - Myer Toowoomba

This Retail Leadership opportunity is perfect for someone who's passionate about supporting store performance and growing their career. As an Assistant Concession Manager, you'll work closely with the Concession Manager and Retail Brand Manager to help drive the performance of our Sportscraft & JAG concession pads in Myer. You'll play a hands-on role across sales, people support, visual merchandising, rostering, and customer experience.

As an Assistant Concession Manager, you will act as a brand ambassador for all our brands, supporting and inspiring your team to provide exceptional and personalised customer service, working 26.75 hours per week across Sunday to Thursday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supporting sales and rankings across all brands and pads, constantly monitoring, tracking, and responding to performance metrics.
   • Personally drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service to lead by example.
   • Support the team to ensure KPIs and sales targets are met.
   • Maintain commercial awareness of customer profile, product lines, and competitor activity.
   • Use available data and reports to support decision-making for the business and the customer.
2. Build strong working relationships and communicate regularly with Myer store and floor management teams.
   • Work collaboratively with other concessions to ensure the best customer experience.
   • Support the Concession Manager in influencing Myer store, floor, and operations management relationships to ensure brands are prioritised and well respected by the entire Myer business.
3. Team support and day-to-day leadership
   • Support the team in delivering store operations excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activities.
   • Assist in attracting, engaging, and retaining talent, helping build team capability.
   • Promote a safe place to work for team members and all store visitors, with a focus on wellbeing.
   • Support a performance culture through encouraging leadership.
   • Assist with recruitment, induction, and training as required.
   • Support coaching and development of team members through regular feedback and performance conversations.
   • Promote team member retention and succession planning.
   • Role model APG & Co values to create and build a team experience that encourages learning, ownership, and shared success.
4. Deliver exceptional customer experience through on-brand teams and product knowledge.
   • Support coaching and provide feedback to the team on product knowledge and delivering a customer-led experience.
   • Maintain an up-to-date level of product knowledge, sharing your passion and insights with customers and your team.
   • Assist in maintaining grooming standards to brand expectations.
   • Understand the brand and business strategy and support the team in delivering it.
   • Assist in resolving customer queries and complaints.
5. Support visual merchandising and pad presentation in line with each brand's standards.
   • Merchandise and style pads and products according to brand guidelines and VM direction.
   • Be aware of top sellers and manage stock levels accordingly.
   • Ensure promotional and tactical merchandising and ticketing are completed as per directives and on time for all brands.
6. Operations, planning, and administration
   • Support the Concession Manager in maintaining an effective store roster that meets customer and team needs.
   • Ensure all business communication is acted upon promptly and shared effectively with the team.
   • Support the implementation of new business initiatives.
   • Assist with stock control and management.
   • Promote loss prevention and theft awareness.
   • Ensure compliance with APG & Co and Myer policies, procedures, and processes.
