This leadership role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced retail environments and is eager to grow their career. As an Assistant Concession Manager, you will work closely with the concession management team to drive performance across various brands and pads within Myer.
The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador, supporting and inspiring their team to deliver exceptional customer service. This involves working 26.75 hours per week across Sunday to Thursday, providing personalized support to customers, and contributing to sales growth through effective stock management and loss prevention strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Performance Management
- Monitor and respond to performance metrics to drive sales growth.
- Support the team to meet KPIs and sales targets.
- Maintain commercial awareness of customer profiles, product lines, and competitor activity.
- Utilize data and reports to inform business decisions.
- Foster strong working relationships with Myer store and floor management teams.
- Collaborate with other concessions to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Support the team in delivering store operations excellence through effective stock management and loss prevention activities.
- Assist in attracting, engaging, and retaining talent, helping build team capability.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment for team members and visitors.
- Encourage leadership development and promote a performance culture.
- Support coaching and provide feedback on product knowledge and customer-led experiences.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and share insights with customers and the team.
- Assist in maintaining grooming standards to brand expectations.
- Understand the brand and business strategy, supporting the team in delivering it.
- Merchandise and style pads and products according to brand guidelines and VM direction.
- Be aware of top sellers and manage stock levels accordingly.
- Ensure promotional and tactical merchandising and ticketing are completed as per directives and on time.
- Support the Concession Manager in maintaining an effective store roster that meets customer and team needs.
- Ensure all business communication is acted upon promptly and shared effectively with the team.
- Support the implementation of new business initiatives.
