Production Operator

Join our team at Northgate working with reinforcing steel mesh, bar and associated products, and get involved in a variety of stores and production tasks to keep our busy operation running to capacity.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate production machinery and equipment with precision and care
  • Cut and bend reinforcing steel
  • Bundle and load reinforcing steel onto trucks
  • Weld reinforcing steel structures together (training provided)
  • Support a team to meet targets and keep things running smoothly

What You'll Bring
  • Experience in a production environment using machinery
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
  • Physical fitness, reliability and a can-do attitude
  • Forklift licence and welding experience (an advantage)
  • Experience in metal production or reinforcing steel (desirable but not essential)
