The Opportunity

This is a full-time permanent role [ 6am start ]. Due to continuous growth, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to be an integral part of our manufacturing process.

Your Responsibilities May Include, Based On Your Experience

  • Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch and assemble various fabric components
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate stitching and assembly
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality
  • Inspect finished products to maintain quality standards and identify any defects
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets
  • Always follow safety guidelines and report any risks immediately
  • Manual Handling – up to 25Kgs

About You

The successful applicant will have proven experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist or in a similar role. As well as:
  • Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and understanding technical drawings
  • Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-based manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques or machinery
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing setting
