Larrakia Development Corporation (LDC) is one of Australia's leading Aboriginal-owned commercial organisations. As Trustee of the Larrakia Development Trust, they deliver business and employment opportunities for Larrakia people, while driving sustainable economic independence. With around 50 staff, LDC operates across property management, labour hire, trade services and property development, while also owning and developing the landmark Larrakia Cultural Centre, now under construction in Darwin. Reporting to a highly engaged Board, the CE will set strategy, deliver growth, and ensure governance excellence. The role is as diverse as it is rewarding. One day you'll be consulting with Traditional Owners and families, the next negotiating with government or commercial partners, and then rolling up your sleeves with your team to shape new opportunities.

You

You're a proven senior executive, ideally with experience across industries such as infrastructure, construction, resources, or manufacturing, and you know how to grow businesses that balance purpose with profit. You've worked closely with Boards, navigated government and regulatory environments, and built organisations that thrive commercially while serving their communities.

Equally at home in the boardroom or on country, you're a natural relationship builder. You bring cultural awareness, business acumen, and the ability to unite diverse stakeholders around a shared vision. You're also an experienced leader of people capable of inspiring, guiding and developing staff at every level.

Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, engineering or a related field will strengthen your credibility, as will prior experience working with Aboriginal organisations or communities. Above all, you'll be motivated by the chance to shape a legacy that delivers prosperity and pride for the Larrakia people.
