About the role

In this exciting position, you'll be right at the heart of our M&A team, providing critical support through:

  • Building and maintaining financial models for M&A investments and projects, including both greenfield and brownfield investments
  • Participation in end-to-end due diligence on active M&A and investment opportunities
  • Assisting in identifying and assessing potential investment opportunities
  • Preparing reports and presenting to Senior Leaders, including the EGM of Growth &Infrastructure, CEO & Investor Group
  • Contributing strategic and commercial insights to M&A and investment evaluation activities
  • Conducting ad-hoc commercial analysis for broader growth initiatives

You'll work closely with senior leaders and investors, helping to evaluate and deliver upon growth & investment opportunities for the group. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your experience in corporate finance, strategic analysis, and end-to-end deal execution.

About you

  • Over 2 years investment banking, corporate development, management consulting or relevant big 4 experience
  • Proven experience in financial modelling
  • Strategic thinker with a team-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Curious, detail orientated, with a genuine interest in corporate finance and strategy
  • Tertiary qualifications (ideally in finance, accounting, or economics), CA or CFA qualified (or currently studying)
