OverviewA leading independent advisory and investment firm is seeking an ambitious Analyst/Associate to join its high-performing Corporate Advisory team. The firm has built a reputation as a long-term trusted partner to boards, executives and shareholders, with deep capital markets expertise and a track record advising on large and complex M&A, financing and capital management transactions in the Australian market. This role offers a platform for professionals to develop their careers in a highly respected, entrepreneurial advisory environment.
As an Advisor, you will take a client-facing role supporting both origination and execution of transactions, including exposure to mergers and acquisitions, debt, equity and hybrid capital structuring, capital management, and risk advisory. You will work directly with senior advisors and clients to deliver bespoke solutions on complex and high-profile mandates.
Responsibilities- Develop client relationships and contribute to origination and execution of transactions.
- Build sophisticated financial models incorporating funding, valuation, tax and accounting considerations.
- Prepare board-quality presentations and reports; support due diligence, structuring, and negotiations.
- Contribute ideas across the firm's advisory offering and collaborate with senior professionals.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
- 2–6 years of experience in corporate advisory, capital markets, transaction services, financial modelling or M&A.
- Experience in Big 4, boutique advisory, or investment bank environments is highly regarded.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, excellent communication, sound commercial judgment, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
