About us

Nuonic is a Brisbane-based software company developing solutions related to the transport and logistics industry, with a particular focus on fuel and vehicle tracking data analysis tools.

We are a small high-performance team serving over 300 nationwide customers across our three operating platforms that process data for 10k+ connected vehicles each month. Our customers range from small businesses to listed corporates, and we partner with over 20 asset tracking device providers.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Sales Executive to join our team and play a lead role in driving our next stage of growth. Supported by our marketing, development and customer operations teams, you will proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities by:

  • Finding and qualifying new leads and prospective customers in our target industries and profiles.
  • Executing outbound contact activities to open new conversations with prospective customers.
  • Assessing prospective customers existing solutions to the problems we solve, requirements and propensity for change, value uplift potential and internal procurement hurdles.
  • Preparing and presenting compelling solution and commercial proposals for prospective customers.
  • Managing sales opportunities through to successful closure.
  • Building and leveraging strong relationships with key customer and partner stakeholders to drive sales actions.
  • Managing the sales pipeline through our CRM and executing required activities in a timely manner to keep opportunities moving.
  • Monitoring market demand and specific customer feedback to inform company product and marketing direction.
  • Attending conferences, trade shows and other events as required.

We recognise that effective people come in all forms and are open to applications from people that don't meet every one of our criteria, though to be successful we think you will need all or most of the following:

  • Demonstrated practical experience in driving tangible and ethical sales outcomes - able to identify, quantify and communicate business value effectively.
  • Strong verbal and digital communication - able to write clearly and concisely and explain viewpoints succinctly in-person.
  • Positive and confident mindset - gets excited about speaking with and understanding new customers and comfortable proactively engaging with new people.
  • Strong work ethic - driven to achieve success and support others to do so and able to find ways to get to the desired result when faced with challenges.
  • Able to manage energy - between diligent focus on detailed work and engaging interpersonal interactions as needed.
  • Strong coordination and management skills - able to track multiple tasks, handle unexpected changes and adapt as needed.
  • Business software sales experience -understanding of howbusinesses of different sizes procure software.
  • Transport or related industry experience - understanding of how our customers operate and what they value.

This role may require occasional interstate travel or work outside regular business hours.

We are open to full-time, part-time or contract arrangements for the right person.

Our team operates a hybrid work arrangement. We aim to get together in the office two days each week because we value direct interaction to solve problems and spending time together.

We are less concerned with the hours spent in office each month, and more concerned with the demonstrable outcomes achieved.

  • You must have the right to live and work full time in Australia.
  • You must be based in the South East Queensland area and able to attend our office in Brisbane on a regular basis.
