Management Accountant

Location: Fremantle

Salary: $109,000 + 14.5% Super

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Management Accountant to join a dynamic team in a well-established organization. This role is responsible for delivering financial insights, budgeting, and performance analysis to drive business decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  1. Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
  2. Support financial planning by providing accurate and timely financial data.
  3. Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance.
Budgeting & Forecasting

  1. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  2. Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations to management.
  3. Work closely with department heads to ensure accurate cost allocation and forecasting.
Cost & Performance Management

  1. Monitor and report on key business performance indicators.
  2. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for projects and operational improvements.
  3. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Compliance & Process Improvement

  1. Ensure financial processes comply with accounting standards and internal policies.
  2. Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation.
  3. Drive efficiencies in financial reporting and operational processes through system improvements and automation.
About You

  1. CA/CPA qualified (or working towards).
  2. Strong financial analysis and management reporting experience.
  3. Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Pronto, MS Dynamics, or similar).
  4. Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to work cross-functionally.
  5. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
